Nestled into the cliffs at the first crossing, we have been family owned and operated for over 50 years and through three generations. We take pride in our excellent customer service and well maintained campground. At KL Ranch Cliffside you will enjoy an outdoor experience like no other. Here you can camp, tube, canoe, kayak, fish, picnic, or just enjoy an afternoon at the river! We also have a camp store on site that is sure to have anything you may need.
KL Ranch Cliffside offers camping to suit the needs of a beginner or a veteran camper! We can accommodate RV’s, tents, campers, or just a sleeping bag under the stars. Whether you want to stay a day or a week, KL Ranch Cliffside is the perfect place to get away from the worries of everyday life and relax at the river. We know tent camping can be as primitive or as glamping as you want to make it, so at KL Cliffside, we make sure you have what you need, or don’t have what you don’t want! Most KL Ranch Cliffside tent sites offer a level, dry campsite with a solid picnic table and fire ring. We have sites with electricity, sites without, and even a few that include a small limestone cave. Most tent sites can even accommodate pop-ups if you have one, or feel free to go sleeping bag only under the stars!
For the tent campers, we have clean restrooms, warm showers and store for all your needs.

The not so new city ordinance, otherwise known as “the can ban” only applies within the city limits of New Braunfels. KL Ranch Cliffside is outside the city limits and if you rent from us, your entire float will be outside the city limits. So feel free to drink (responsibly) out of any can of your choice!
